Digital Dozen Does Decades, Friday

Oh my gosh how cute is this!!! I couldn't leave all my looks inspired by fashion and colours for the ladies, so I did some research for the men folk. I found this hilarious video about men's facial hair fashion through the ages linked here. It's a must watch!!!! I had this great mustache plate image from BP-L021 that I've never used and decided it was about time. The base is called Sugar Rush from Sonia Kashuk.

Definitely check out my girls Friday looks after you watch that video, and thanks for stopping by for another week of Digital Dozen madness!!

Cheers all,

Digital Dozen Does Decades, Thursday

Minor internet setback overted and I have the last two looks up for Decades week. This 50's inspired dotticure was inspired by all the dots fashion I saw online while researching the 50's. I really like the chocolate and pink looks, so I went with that palette for my 50's recreation. I used brown and white acrylic paint on two coats of China Glaze Dance Baby and matted the whole thing.

I always love a good dotticure, but this was inspired by looks like the recreation one linked here. I would still wear dresses like this today to the right event!!

Cheers all,

DIgital Dozen Does Decades, Wednesday

Today's look was super fun to create. The 80's is up for Digital Dozen Does Decades week. The 80's were so colourful and such a mix of eclectic patterns that anything went. For this look I used China Glaze Frostbite , and two unnamed Color Club Neons for my base polishes. My totally rad images were from BM-610, BM-602 and Moyou Artist Collection-15.

I really love all the bright neons and patterns of the 80's, just maybe not everyday!

Don't forget to check out what my girls cooked up for today below.

Cheers all,

Digital Dozen Does Decades, Monday

Today is day one of the Digital Dozen Does Decades week. I wasn't sure how to approach this prompt, so I started with a manicure to represent time in general. Once I finished, I kicked myself for not thinking of this look for New Years Eve as it totally has a New Years feel. My base is Greige Gardens from Sally Hansen stamped with black and Essie Penny Talk.

I loved how the little golden clocks looked over the black geometric! Check out all the awesome looks the other girls dreamed up below! I can't wait to show you the other posts for this week...mostly because they are hilarious)

Cheers all,

Digital Dozen Does Decades, Tuesday

I picked 70's for my second decade in Digital Dozen Does Decades week. I was born is '79 and the colour palettes and f the 70's were so hideous in my opinion, that I immediately wanted to come up with a crazy '70's look. My base is the sea foam coloured On Stranger Tides from OPI. I stamped orange dots with OPI Shop Til Sunset and then added the trippy flowers and peace sign  using Revlon Espresso. As an afterthought, I dotted with acrylic paint in a tomato shade at the end to really capture the tacky feel I was going for.

This one was so much fun to play with. Tacky on purpose was kinda satisfying!

Cheers all,
